Job Overview
We are looking for an ERP Integration Study Manager to lead a full-cycle organizational study aimed at evaluating and planning for an enterprise-wide ERP system.
The focus is strictly on conducting a deep-dive assessment and delivering a detailed project plan, including recommendations for an ERP integration strategy. The company currently operates with various independent tools—including Excel—and seeks to unify key business functions: Project Controls, Cost Control, Procurement, Planning, Engineering Document Control, HRMS, Accounting, Payroll, Sales, and Administration.
You will act as the central coordinator for this study, aligning inputs from stakeholders, systems, and processes to deliver a comprehensive feasibility and planning report that supports future ERP investment decisions.
This role will be for 12 months and to be working from our office in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities
- Lead and structure the entire ERP study phase, from initiation to delivery of final recommendations.
- Develop and manage a clear project plan with gates, milestones, and deliverables specific to the study and planning phases.
- Map current systems and tools in use, identify Excel-based dependencies, and assess process maturity.
- Conduct gap analysis, process maturity assessments, and stakeholder workshops across all departments.
- Capture functional, technical, and integration requirements for all business areas involved.
- Evaluate feasibility, readiness, risks, and interdependencies to support integrated ERP adoption.
- Provide strategic recommendations for future implementation, including cost estimation and timeline guidance.
- Identify local ERP and system providers and assess their alignment with company needs.
- Outline integration opportunities with other business-critical systems and tools.
- Deliver a detailed study report, including a conceptual ICT architecture, master data strategy, and a high-level implementation roadmap.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Proven experience leading ERP studies or implementations (including small or mid-sized projects).
- Solid project management skills, including familiarity with gate-based planning, milestones, and risk control.
- Strong understanding of process leadership, business process optimization, and interdepartmental workflows.
- Hands-on experience conducting maturity assessments, gap analyses, and business process re-engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and manage the study and pre-implementation phases independently.
- Familiarity with local ERP providers and system integrators in the region.
- Conceptual and practical knowledge of ICT architecture, system integration, and cloud environments.
- Understanding of master data management, database structures, and data governance.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills to drive cross-functional collaboration.
Other requirements
- Good verbal as well written communication skills
- Eligible for working in UAE (for example: Attested Degree certificate)
